The EV6 has about 20 moving parts to its drivetrain. Compared to about 2000 in a gas counterpart. And what's more, the federal government mandated a long time ago that those 20 parts, as well as the high voltage battery itself, have to include a 10 year/100,000 fully transferable warranty. To avoid being on the hook for replacing these big components, EV manufacturers build these drivetrains to last 20 years/200k miles.
